Parents College Summer Camp is over...

... but it has just started. We want to thank everyone who trust us with our project. We know is hard to understand what we do, but we're confident once you experience it you don't want to stop taking advantage of it.

To all the kids, parents, guests, thanks for joining us and having interest in what we do. To all our supporters, South Valley Academy, 11 Online, McCune Charitable Foundation and Noventum, we are really thankful for your support and hopefully we didn't disappoint you.

To Prosperity Works, who has been of great help since last year and has been really engaged since the beginning, there's no words to thank you.

We will continue spreading our mission, we can be at your school, church or any kind of organization who wants to tackle our current education circumstances in a creative way. Keep me in the loop

I hope you enjoyed the 4th of July safely and didn't become one of the ugly stories we got to read or hear about every 5th of July. It's incredible how despite a big amount of warnings, people still choose to take unnecessary risks. Anyway, I'm no safety consultant, my work is to give you some fun tips and here they are, since there's no libraries or events in the Plaza or anywhere else I know of, you very probably see me at Off Center, doing some puppets.

3:00 pm  Free Writer’s Working Workshop

July 4, 2017
This is the day that we celebrate not being invaded by Aliens (at least that's what the Independence Day movie was about). This holiday represents a lot for a lot of people, so we have a couple of suggestions for you to have a happy celebration. Please read them below. Nevertheless, we have an even GREATER recommendation for you. There is already a fire in this county, please be SAFE. A freedom celebration doesn't have to end up in a visit to a hospital or in your house being burned. Please be aware of your surroundings while using fireworks. Don't experience health or material losses due to your excess of patriotism, there's many ways to show that besides burning barrels and barrels of powder. Don't do it near things that can catch fire easily, be ware of your kids and other's. Also don't use an excess of it. It is very hard to go to sleep when everything smells like powder. Other than that, enjoy your barbecues, family traditions, fireworks and 4th of July celebrations. Here you go:

This is a long weekend, and because of the 4th of July there is a drop in the activity from our regular sources, but I’m sure there will be a lot for you to do everywhere in the city, family barbecues, and more. Also, since “Shakespeare in the Plaza” is gone. We got to the task of finding something to replace it and we found it. And the last performance of the summer of Shakespeare on the Plaza

Albuquerque Civic Plaza@ 1 Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, NM 871027:30 pm Shakespeare on the Plaza: A Comedy of Errors

July 1, 2017

Today is the last day of the great summer season of Shakespeare on the Plaza, we got the chance to enjoy "A Comedy of Errors" and "Macbeth". It was lovely to be during the fresh summer evenings, enjoying the company of great people and living and laughing with the drama of these plays. A big round of applause to all the people who made this wonderful time possible. From the bottom of my hear, I can tell you that as a parent, it is of infinite value what you guys do. You will definitely provided my kids with a memories that will last a lifetime and as an adult, it has been one of my best memories too. I certainly hope that events like this get to happen more often so families can take advantage of them. Therefore, please enjoy the last performance of "A Comedy of Errors" at 7:30 today and clap as hard as you can to this excellent group of people. They so deserve it.
