Today we celebrate those persons who are our champions, our heroes, they're faster than Flash (Flash is faster than Superman), stronger than Hercules (Hercules is stronger than Superman) and smarter than Batman (Batman is definitely smarter than Superman)... they're our fathers... and also moms that have to be dads too. There's a lot of things to do today for them to enjoy their families and feel proud of themselves.

  • ABQ Biopark, get to the Zoo for only $1.00, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm enjoy a concert and other activities they have prepared for you.

  • Old Town Father's Day Celebration 1-3 pm

  • Shakespeare on the Plaza "Comedy of Errors" 7:30 pm

Yup, that's us. A regular family looking to build a community of regular families that want to be just that... families. Our goal is to take the most advantage of the available resources in our community so that we can spend more quality time together AS A FAMILY. Not in front of a screen or driving our kids... or doing what others tell us to do. We have created this experience for you to do the same, be involved as much as you can with your family. If you don't believe us, come to our summer camp and join us in doing the following.

We learn together

Learn some Math skills, learn a new language, typing, digital animation and coding.

We play together

Soccer, ultimate frisbee, board games, basketball or anything else can be the excuse to have fun.

We work together

Don't be scared... a little bit of organic farming has never killed anyone.. we might harvest something.

During the morning we'll be happy to have you at our Summer Camp. Therefore, we want you to remember that we're you're best choice without any doubt. Anyhow, we'll keep our promise to offer you alternatives for your enjoyment even if it conflicts with what we do. During this week if you're not able to join us for any reason, you still might be able to have fun with your kids. These will be the things to do each day of the week, we'll start with Monday and update daily, please keep checking this blog entry everyday this week.

I want to talk about the Civic Plaza events first. Last weekend we went to the play "The Comedy of Errors". All my family enjoyed it really much. I have a 9, 7 and 5 year old kids and they were all laughing a lot. That's one of the many reasons why Shakespeare has transcended centuries... his writing is universal. Monday actually seems kind of relaxed,

why don't you make yourself the purpose of getting you and your kids a mid day nap?

That way you can stay up late to watch the stars with them.

It's good yoga for the eyes, plus you can talk about the greek gods and constellations.
